A teenager from a small town in the Midwest named Willam Belli is living a quiet, boring, and normal life when he’s forced to move across the country to California with his single mother. In the process, he enrolls in a high school that specializes in drag queen studies, where he meets a group of oddball friends, including a high school dropout who’s also a drag queen, a transgender girl who’s a bit of a drama queen, a big city girl who’s a bit of a diva, a weirdly-gifted girl who can’t quite make a friend at a party, a girl who’s a bit of a pushover, and a trust fund baby who’s a bit of an egotist.
In this series, the kids will be in a state of self-discovery and self-realization. These kids have been in denial for so long. It’s time to change. One of the main characters is a transsexual. Watch a trailer in our video section.

The Drag Kids is based on Megan Wennberg’s LGBTQ Canadian documentary film of the same name, which was released on April 28th, 2019.
Paul McCurdy directed the film, which stars Queen Lactatia, Lady GaGa, Suzan Bee Anthony, and Bracken Hanke.

What does it mean to be a Drag kid?
A drag queen is a person, typically a man, who imitates and frequently exaggerates feminine gender signifiers and gender roles for entertainment reasons by wearing drag clothes and makeup. Historically, the majority of drag queens have been males who have dressed up as women. The same is true for children.
Is it possible for children to become drag queens?
Boys may dress up as princesses or queens at any age, and females can dress up as masculine superheroes at any age; there is no age limit for performing.
What locations were used to shoot drag kids?
In 2018, the documentary was shot in Fierté Montréal.
Plot
Drag is a performance, expressiveness, and entertainment art form. This creative form defies the constraints and limitations imposed by society and achieves the unexpected. Drag Youngsters is a documentary about four kids named Stephan, Nemis, Bracken, and Jason who live in various areas of the globe but meet because of their shared passion of drag.
Lady Gaga is played by a 9-year-old boy named Stephan. He lives in the south of Spain with a British expat family. He had always played there, but his passion for the city couldn’t be contained, so he began playing at tourist restaurants. Suzan Bee Anthony is played by Shy Jason, an 11-year-old child. He resides in the Bible Belt of the United States, where his family used to perform in order to defend their family, which allowed him to flourish.
Bracken, who is 11 years old, is a precocious child. She’s having trouble being accepted as a “hyper-queen.” She’s hoping to be linked to one of the world’s 19 or so drag shows. Queen Lactatia is played by Nemis, a 9-year-old girl. He now resides in Montreal, and with the assistance of his “mom-manager,” he has scaled new heights, from selling his wares at markets and local shops to judging vogue ball events in bars.
The documentary follows four youngsters who had never met before as they work together to put on a great performance despite many obstacles, including profound isolation, the fight to establish a space of their own, and the success of the Montreal Pride display.

This is just absurd. At one point, the mother clarifies that those who believe this is sexualizing youngsters are mistaken. Then there’s the following scene, which takes place at a homosexual club, complete with adult men wearing dog masks, leather massless underwear, and the like….how is this appropriate?
